I never write reviews unless it is absolutely a terrible experience. 3 of the 5 bedrooms were downstairs so that means 3 couples had to deal with them. However the biggest issue that we had was that the bottom floor was completely overtaken by centipedes. There were extremely dim lights all over the home. One of the smallest TVs that I have ever seen. The TV in the living room couldn't have been bigger than a 20". For example there was a used bar of soap left in one of the showers. Once we got to the cabin we were extremely let down. My family, 10 of us, were extremely excited about going to Gatlinburg and staying at this cabin after reading the reviews posted on their website. On their website they only post the positive reviews. This review will pertain to the 5 bedroom cabin "Diamond in the Rough". Book somewhere that has the integrity to at least provide you with the contract you allegedly signed. To say they don’t “have” that doc? Of course a company has a copy of the contract! Otherwise, how can they charge you? I’m not finished with writing reviews of the practices of this company. Most companies are only too happy to provide you with details of the agreement. As far as the computer Not generating a contract/confirmation upon completion of it? I get that! That sometimes happens. This is a total scam! Why in the WORLD would anyone purchase trip ins if there was going to be a fee attached if you had to cancel? Especially with a two month notice. She said that was not possible, and no one could provide a copy of that document! She asked if I wanted to cancel because she has people coming in and she must hang up. She replied that she doesn’t have a copy of the agreement. ![]() I asked her to email me a copy of the agreement. I explained to her that I did not receive a confirmation. Knowing I had purchased trip ins, I assumed that they would simply deduct the amount of the trip ins and refund the rest of my money. I called today because my doctor had concerns about me going. That included the first nights rent of the cabin, plus $38.90 for trip insurance. Beware of this company! I booked online, and I didn’t get a confirmation, but The company debited $267 from my debit card.
